How a late-night frustration, a 10-hour phone call, and a joke about peaches became a platform for every underserved builder.
It started alone, in a dorm room. I had been building for years — apps, websites, tools — and every time I finished something, I'd push it to GitHub and it would just sit there. Static. Invisible. I'd post on LinkedIn and it would disappear in the feed within minutes. I kept thinking, there has to be a better way for builders to be seen.
The first version I ever imagined I called Ship It — like a ship, the animal. I sketched the idea out, got excited, then lost track of it. But the feeling never left.
Then I found my people. Ten hours before HackOH/IO 2025, the four of us jumped on a phone call and talked through the whole thing — what it was, what it could be, who it was for. We didn't sleep much. We didn't need to. The energy was there.
The name came up almost as a joke. Peaches. Assol loved it immediately. We all did. Something about it just fit — just like a peach, good work needs time to ripen, but when it's ready, it's impossible to ignore. So we went with it: Pchz — Peaches.
We entered HackOH/IO 2025 with that energy, that name, and something real to show. We won — Most Original and Innovative Product, backed by Ohio State University. That night changed everything for us.
We're grateful for every moment of it. We learned so much — about building under pressure, about listening to each other, about what it means to be a team. And now we want to build something bigger: a community for underserved talent. For people who have been building in silence and never got the platform they deserve.
If you have a senior project, a side project, or just an idea you believe in — this is where you bring it. Your next pitch might be your breakthrough.
We're looking forward to every opportunity ahead, and we're just getting started.

“I've been building apps, websites, and tools for years. Every time I finished something I was proud of, I'd push it to GitHub and it would just sit there. Static. Invisible. I'd post on LinkedIn and it would disappear in the feed within minutes. I even applied to Y Combinator and it didn't go well. That frustration is why Pchz exists, so no builder ever has to feel unseen again.”
I'm a student at Mount Vernon Nazarene University pursuing a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity and a Master's in Information Technology, while working full-time as a full-stack software engineer.
I'm also the founder of Psalms23Wave, an apostolic, Bible-rooted space guided by the Holy Spirit, exploring God's purpose through Scripture, history, and Christ the Shepherd.
My purpose is building tools for underserved communities and people who never get the platform they deserve.
Builds: AI systems, recommendation engines, full-stack platforms.

“I bring people together and turn ideas into momentum. My background spans embedded systems, ML research, and community organizing, but my real superpower is creating environments where people feel they belong and do their best work.”
I'm currently researching solar PV optimization with real-time ML at MVNU and I organize tech communities as a GDG Campus Lead.
I was part of the team that won HackOHIO 2025. When something excites me, I go deep. You'll find me thrifting for books or debating AI over a good coffee.

“I'm passionate about using machine learning and AI to create tools that make a real impact. Through products like Pchz, I enjoy building platforms that help people share ideas, connect with others, and turn bold ideas into reality.”
I study Mathematics & Statistics at Kenyon College, focusing on data science, AI, and software engineering.
I'm a builder at heart, the kind who sees a problem and immediately starts thinking about the model that could solve it.

“The most exciting part of technology is not just writing code, it's building things that create meaningful impact.”
I study Mathematics and Computer Science at Kenyon College, working at the intersection of data, systems, and product design.
I build full-stack applications, machine learning models, and collaborative platforms. At HackOH/IO 2025, with 800+ participants, our team won Most Original Project after spending long nights refining both the technical architecture and user experience.
Beyond hackathons, I work on AI systems, intelligent tutoring platforms, and data-driven decision tools, especially how AI can support learning and make complex information accessible.
